RestEasy is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your personal safety checks are private matters that should remain entirely under your control.
Data Collection
We don't collect any data. RestEasy operates entirely on your device without any servers, accounts, or cloud storage.
- No personal information is collected
- No photos leave your device
- No analytics or tracking
- No accounts or sign-ups required
Photo Storage
All photos taken with RestEasy are stored locally on your device only:
- Photos are saved in the app's private storage
- Photos automatically delete based on your settings (default: 24 hours)
- No photos are backed up to any cloud service
- Deleting the app removes all stored photos permanently
Third-Party Services
RestEasy does not integrate with any third-party services. There are no:
- Analytics services
- Advertising networks
- Social media integrations
- Cloud backup services
Camera & Photo Permissions
RestEasy requires camera permission to function. This permission is used solely to:
- Capture photos when you explicitly tap the capture button
- Save photos to the app's local storage
The app never accesses your camera without your direct action.
Data Security
Your photos are protected by:
- iOS system-level security
- App sandbox isolation
- Device passcode/biometric protection
Children's Privacy
RestEasy is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
Any changes to this privacy policy will be reflected in an app update with an updated "Last updated" date.
